The GNOME-BR project is seeking help in finishing the translation of GNOME 2.16. Worth of note is that the Brazilian Portuguese translation is one of the most complete translations, just like in Plone. :) ./volunteers –all > gnome-br-list.

Came back from a long weekend to find my Win2k box won’t boot anymore. A blue screen saying something in the lines of ‘could not read initialization drive, run CHKDSK /F to fix’. Well, the put the Win2k disk in, no ‘/F’ option. Funny. Not so funny that running ‘CHKDSK’ with the only available options [...]

PyCon 2006 will be in Dallas. I always wanted to attend to PyCon, but could not even dream to. Now I’ve got my US Visa, so at least I can dream. It’s also a 3h drive from Houston, base for Enfold Systems, which is a plus. Had a nice time over there after the Plone [...]
